How We Help

When something isn’t quite right with your child, it can be hard to know what to do next. You might be feeling worried, overwhelmed, or simply unsure where to start. At Just Kids Health, we’re here to help.

We provide thoughtful, personalised care for babies, children and teens, taking the time to understand your concerns, explain things clearly, and support you to feel confident at home. We know parenting isn’t always easy. That’s why we offer longer appointments, practical guidance, and ongoing support - so you never feel like you’re navigating things alone.

How we support your family

  • We listen first - we take the time to understand your concerns and what’s really going on for your child.

  • We make things clear - no confusing medical language - just simple, practical explanations you can understand.

  • We create a plan that works at home - your plan needs to fit your family.

  • We stay alongside you - we are here for ongoing support, not just a one-off visit.

Eczema / Skin Problems

Many families who see us are really confused about the best care for eczema. We help you understand the different creams and medicines and how they work. We will show you how to keep eczema under control and find the ‘triggers’ that make eczema worse. You will also get a personalised plan to take home.

Asthma

We will explain about wheeze and asthma in babies, children and teens. We will show you how to use a spacer and give practical tips for good asthma control. If needed, we will give you an action plan for different levels of asthma: when well or unwell.

Teen Wellbeing

We know that the teen years can be tricky and we want to help teens and their families to stay strong and feel good. Whether it is about eating right, staying active or managing stress we can guide and support you to stay healthy and happy together.

Parent and Child

Parent Support

We meet many parents who feel they would like to parent differently, but are not sure where to start or what to do. Some parents find a guiding hand or coaching makes a big difference.  We will help you to set achievable goals to be 'good enough' parents.

Toilet Training / Bedwetting

Dealing with bedwetting and toilet training can be hard for parents. The good news is, with the right help and advice, your child can get through these challenges. We also help with later-onset soiling and constipation and understand that some children need extra help to manage this. We will support you with routines aiming for independent toileting, dry nights and no more accidents.
