?
I don’t have a referral, can I still make an appointment?
Absolutely!
You do not need a referral to visit our
Just Kids Health Clinic.
?
What will happen at my appointment?
We will take time to hear your concerns and assess your child. We will explain about your child’s health and give you the latest info on treatments so you can decide what is best for your child.
?
Can you share information with my health provider?
We sure can! We write our summary letters to you, the parent or carer, in words you can understand (not medical jargon!). We can send a copy to your usual health provider and we can upload info to My Health Record.

How can you help with ADHD/Autism
-
Our nurse practitioners can assess your child’s development and behaviour to see whether ASD or ADHD may be part of what’s going on. We take the time to understand your child across different settings and use trusted assessment tools to guide our assessment.
-
We work alongside paediatricians, psychologists and other professionals as part of a team approach to support diagnosis. We stay involved throughout the process, helping you understand each step and what it means for your child.
-
We can connect you with the right supports like early intervention, school planning and accessing NDIS where needed.
?
Can I have a video call?
Absolutely. We know it's not always easy to get into the clinic in person, so you are able to have an appointment via phone or video.
?
Do you bulk bill?
Concession Card holders are bulk billed. All other appointments have an out-of-pocket charge with a Medicare rebate.
