A Nurse Practitioner is a Registered Nurse approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia to work at an advanced level. Nurse Practitioners have completed additional university study at Master’s degree level and are the most senior clinical nurses in our health care system.

OUR NURSE PRACTITIONERS

Stephanie Dowden

Stephanie is a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. She has postgraduate studies in child health and education and a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).

Stephanie has over 25 years of experience in children’s healthcare, working in specialist children’s hospitals in Melbourne and Perth and London. 

Stephanie’s interests include baby, child and teen health, parent well-being, eczema, weight concerns, child development, childhood trauma and disability. Stephanie especially enjoys teaching children and families how to manage their health at home.

Stephanie set up NursePrac Australia in 2016 and the clinic started in March 2017.

Carly Martin

Carly is a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner. She has postgraduate studies in child & adolescent health and a Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner).

Carly has over 16 years of experience in children’s healthcare, working in specialist children’s hospitals in Perth and community health in Perth and country areas. 

Carly is passionate about helping families to access high quality health care and early intervention services. 
Her special interests include eczema, developmental assessments, weight management, constipation/ soiling concerns, parent support and general children’s healthcare.
